There's apparently a very reasonable explanation as to why Miley Cyrus was spotted twice last week without her big old engagement ring: It's in the shop.
The star has sworn off addressing issues in her personal life, but she talked about her ring in a tweet to her backup singer Lindsey Lee yesterday. Lee tweeted about her own ring having to go in for some work and Cyrus chimed in. "Ugh that's the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off," she wrote. Subtle, eh?
Still, things probably aren't totally peachy in paradise for the star and fiance Liam Hemsworth. The ring situation doesn't explain why the actor was partying (and maybe kissing) January Jones before the Oscars, or why he bought a house in Australia, or why he's in Australia, why they're supposedly fighting all the time, etc. etc.
